Re: My C Doesnt Work
What you need is a new keyboard. Remember--they are basically anelectronic part (in this case a pressure-sensitive part) and theysometimes fail. You can get a replacement keyboard from Toshiba or use a place like National Parts Depot. You can reach them at http://www.nationalparts.com/load.aspx?file=home.npd
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US. click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. Goodluck!

I don't think that is correctable; if it is under warranty, have it repaired or replaced. The yamaha keyboards are great when they work partly because they use sampled sounds; getting extra sounds indicates a bad chip.
Loud repeating beeps? Indicative of a stuck key on your keyboard. Try seeing if the keys all "bounce back" after being pressed. If they stick, get a can of compressed air and gently blow it under the keys. If that fails, try with an external keyboard, see if that works, if it does, then you may need to have the laptop dismantled to clean/ replace the keyboard
well you can do this by using the filter keys ..follow the steps below to get your job done:
To lock keyboard with filterkeys
->activate sticky keys by pressing the shift key 5 times.
-> Go to settings and click the radio button 'use filter keys' this locks the keyboard and gives nifty little sounds all except the taskbar button if keyboard has one
->. easily unlock by double clicking little clock emblem in the bottom right hand corner of screen and deselecting use filter keys. Make sure you hit 'apply'
You need to check in the BIOS if the keys when typed does make beeping noise. Set BIOS defaults.
If the keys are still not working than boot the sys to the recovery manager and press ctrl+d to open the CMD box and test the key board there.
Boot the sys 3 times to BIOS and set BIOS defaults,
If it doesnt work try the latest update and drivers for the sys. If it doesnt work that means the keyboard needs to be repaired
Still? Was this the problem before? I have seen viruses that effect the keys. Download and run AVGFREE, MALWARE BYTES, and SUPERANTISPYWARE. Once these ae run, now how is the keyboard? If still a problem goto START, Run and type MSCONFIG. Once this is on the screen then select Disgnostic Startup. Save and Reboot. Only the basic OS will load. If the keys still don't work then it can only be the KB, KB connector, or mother board.
try to use virtual keyboard in start/allprograms/accessories/accessibility/on screen keyboard. And press shift. If that problem still occur when you use on screen keyboard (osk), unplug your keyboard, and try to use osk again. If that's still occur, surely you got virus or setting error
ok..... firstly check to make sure the "NUM LOCK" is off!!! if no joy
get a usb keyboard and restart the pc with keyboard plugged in,
hopefully if the usb controllers are enabled in the bios you will be
able use the usb keyboard and enter your password, use it until you
resolve the issue
