The problem is due to faulty color wheel, ballast, or ICs (capacitors) They all can be replaced. But they will have to be tested. Look at the color wheel to see if colors are faded or ran together. If the wheel spins, than the ballast is good. It is very common for the color wheel and capacitors to go out on these tvs.

Can't get my epson 450wi to turn on shows red

What shows red? If all 3 lights are flashing red you are out of luck. If it is under warranty call Epson. If your warranty has recently expired I would still call Epson. This is a "known issue" for this model projector.

My epson projector shows a non growing yellow tinge in the centre of the image. The projector is about 4 years old. EMP-TW700. I am a fairly heavy user.

Hi,
From my experience, the projector bulb has most likely received a blemish of some kind from something such as accumulated dust on the front, to a fingerprint from where it has been handled by someone replacing it.
This yellow tinge then occurs when the blemish is burned onto the surface of the bulb.
In my opinion, unfortunately, you may need to get a new bulb.
Hope this helps!

How to hook up cable from the wall to epson ex30 projector

The Epson is a monitor only. It has no tuner, so no cable connections. If you have a cable box or VCR, or DVD with RCA Style Connectors (yellow, red and white) connect your cable coax to the box or VCR and then the video and audio outputs on the box or VCR to the projector and select the video mode.

Yellow hallo problem

It sounds like it is related to the red filtered glass before the prism inside the projector. When this gets to hot, it will burn a spot on the glass that causes the yellow spot. I have seen in happen on alot of epson 53c projectors. This has a red filter that is easily scratched when it gets too hot. It will actually look burnt.
