Re: e74 error code
The cause of the E74 Error might be overheating of
your console and for avoiding such error messages in future you need to
put your machine at an open space. Ensure that it is placed near the
window or you can also make some external arrangement for cooling the
console such as cooling the machine through a pedestal fan etc. But as
your Xbox already have E74 Error, You can either send your Xbox to
Microsoft for repair ( just for your information Microsoft is no longer
providing Extended warranty for E74 Problem), Microsoft generally takes
3-4 weeks to fix the problem. If you can't wait for a month (I know
most XBox gamers can not wait without their favourite Gaming device),
You can also fix E74 Problem yourself and that too within an hour
without any technical knowledge. I would suggest you to check out the DIY Xbox Fix Guide for more information.

Corrupt memory causes this. Just guessing on your make and model type!
1 - Unplug the washer from power for 10 minutes to attempt to CLEAR THE CORRUPTED MEMORY on the main control board. NOTE: You can try unplugging the washer multiple times to attempt to clear the corrupt memory. Unplugging the LG washer with the EE error code may clear the error code and no other action is required. The washer memory will be cleared or reset and the EE error code is considered fixed or repaired. 2 - If the code does not clear on the washer after unplugging it multiple times, this means the main electronic control board is faulty and needs to be removed and replaced. 3 - To be sure the main control board is the problem, run a TEST MODE if you want to continue the troubleshooting process or just replace the main control board and that will fix the EE error issue. NOTE: How to run a TEST MODE on an LG front load washer is explained below... 4 - If you have unplugged the washer for 10 minutes and have done this multiple times and the EE code DID NOT CLEAR, you can run the TEST MODE and the EE error may come up with the FIRST PRESS OF START/PAUSE BUTTON DISPLAYS EE ERROR CODE. If this is the case, then you have a bad or faulty Main Electronic Control Board and you need to replace it.
Code 10 refers to a device not functioning (assume you are using a computer and windows here) As a first attempt, unplug all the non essential items and reboot into safe mode (f8) If this works go to C drive click on properties and run the maintenance to reapir disc errors
This error code is part of the DST (Disk Self Test). Unfortunately that particular error code is telling you that there are previous errors in the log. There are multiple things that can easily lead to hard drive errors.
The first thing I would do is a checkdisk. To initiate this, open My Computer. Right-Click on the C:/ drive and select Properties. Click on the tab that says Tools. And there is an option that says "check now" under Error Checking. Select both options on this tab: Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.
This will likely give you a message saying it's unable to check now and will ask to do so on the next reboot. Restart your system and wait for the scan to finish. After this, check your logs and see if you're still getting the same errors.
One red light means one of the following, according to Microsoft:
This type of error will show an Error On The Screen. The Error List Is As Follows:E64 - Error: Key Not Valid Or Firmware Problem. E65 - Error: Key Not Valid Or Firmware Problem Or Flashrom Is Not Responding. E67 - Error: Hard Drive Install Problem, Attempt To Re-Install. E68 - Error: Hard Drive Install Problem, Attempt To Re-Install. E69 - Error: Hard Drive Install Problem, Attempt To Re-Install. E74 - Error: Video Cable Problem. Possible Damaged Video Cable Depending on what error code you get, try fixing whatever the corresponding error message is, above.
you have no choice but to open it up, this is to check that the hard drive works or has disslodged, pull the hard drive out and then reseat it again, reboot the laptop and see if the bios has found the hard drive, if it does try to boot into it
1. I need to know the brand name , model number , or motherboard you have
2. I need to know what operating system you are using
and when you say open , in what manor do you mean open , in what way are you attempting to open the drive and with what program , so far it looks like you may need to reinstall the computers operating system from scratch , because something is dead wrong , and it looks like a file system error , as if your computer operating system is no longer able to access files properly.
I consider your situation unresolved at this time untill you can give me more information.
I'm trying to reach guru status here in order to help people like you in a far more proper manor.
