On board mouse is not responding

Please not that i ahve a Acer Aspire 3680 Laptop and i am unbale to use the mouse its not responding i cannot even right or left click on it please assist The on-board touchpad stopped responding on Nov. 23 but the (optional) wireless mouse still works. Machine just beeps when I press [Fn] & [7]. I have the same problem with my acer - I've found that if i plug in an optical mouse it will work. But I've been unable to fix the actual onboard mouse

It will be problem on mother board. see it and clean the the board and put one time

Well most likely you have had the laptop apart and not hooked the power ribbon for the mouse back to the board.

Power Board Problem and Power Button Hinges Top Cover broken


It would be cheaper to have the power board repaired but the replacement is around $55 from ebay. I'd get a new moulding for it if its available or even if you got somthing plastic welded up.

Press the Key Fn and hold and then press the key F7 one time and leave it free... that enable again your laptop mousepad
