SOURCE: I purchased cosco car seat

Yes, this car seat is a booster seat rather then a harnessed car seat.

The requirements are 30-100lbs and 34" to 57".

It's generally recommended that boosters are not used until 5-6 years old when the child is able to sit in proper position in the car on both long and short trips after they have outgrown their harnessed seat.

Does the Peugeot 406 Saloon (2000) have child anchorage points?

The front and rear license plate mounting brackets work nicely for strapping on a small child...but seriously refer to the instructional video in the link to mount a child safety seat in a car with or without LATCH points. The Peugeot 406 was required to have LATCH mounting connectors effective in 1999 in the US and Canada. The location of the mounting connectors should be detailed in your owners manual.

What does cosco scenera model 22216-llp

You should see a harness strap over each shoulder that goes though the shell, behind the seat, and connects to a metal splitter plate.

The front of the harnesses (2) extend down though the buckle tongues then into the hip area of the seat.

There is a crotch strap that comes out of the shell where the child\'s crotch is. The buckle is attached to this strap.

There will be a LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children) strap that goes through one of two belt paths. If used, this strap must go though the proper belt path.

Finally, there is a top tether strap the comes from the back of the seat - near the top - that will attach to the tether anchor in your car (see your car owner\'s manual)

My suggestion to you is to purchase a new seat. The protection of your child is most important.

Took seat apart to wash, can't figure out how to relace the harness.

I would look on the car seat and find out what company makes it or a phone number for them. They might be able to walk you thru how to relace the straps or most companies will send you a new manual for free (might have to pay S&H)

Rear Facing UAS strap can't feed through?

Are you sure you're looking at the UAS/LATCH strap and not the top tether?
Your seats should have a long strap with a hook at each end that goes through the belt path (the UAS strap) and another at the top, for top tethering once you turn them forward facing.
The UAS strap may be hooked onto the sides of the seat or bundled together underneath...take another look at your manual to find out where they store it.
Alternately, install with the seat belt - neither LATCH/UAS or seat belt is "safer" than the other...the LATCH/UAS is just supposed to be more convenient.

Booster seat

Converting the seat to a booster: (Alpha Omega Elite Deluxe 2004 version, Eddie Bauer)
After all said and done, the base can probably be left on, it helps to recline the chair when the child is asleep. If you want to leave it out, the manual says the base can be removed for narrow vehicle seats or airline use. Locate the center bar at the bottom of the seat, push the tab at the end of the bar and pull the bar out. The seat can then be separated from the base. The seat has a "kickstand" that can be pulled out to sit the seat upright. Put the bar back in the base so you don't lose it.

To remove the harness, remove the base first. Then from the back of the seat, unfasten the harness from the harness bracket. Store the bracket by looping it behind and around the back spine of the shell. You can unthread the harness from that point and pull it out. From the bottom of the seat, locate the buckle's metal clip. Insert the clip up through the shell and pad, from the front pull the buckle free from the shell. Lock latch plates into buckle for safekeeping.

Once the seat is converted to adult straps don't use the latch system; hook the hooks together to keep it from swinging around, and place the top anchorage strap behind the seat with the anchor hook under the seat.

Missing Instruction Manual

https://plweb.evenflo.com/faq_detail.aspx?faqid=4407 the above link is for the manual but here are the instructions. If you have two plastic harness adjusters located on the back of your seat please follow the following steps: On the very bottom of your car seat locate two metal anchors one on each side of the seat, pull the metal anchors out of position and turn them sideways and feed them through to the front of the seat. Release the buckle tongues and chest clip and pull the harness straps to the back of the seat while pushing the chest clips, buckle tongues and harness anchors through to the back of the car seat. NOTE: You may find it easier by pulling down the seat pad when feeding the straps through. All pieces will fit through the harness slots. Choose the appropriate slots for the new harness position. Push the harness anchors, harness straps, buckle tongues and chest clips back through to the front of the seat. Once the straps are completely pulled back through to the front of the seat, make sure the straps are not twisted by clipping the chest clip together and buckling the buckle tongues, then feed the metal anchors through to the bottom of the seat and clip anchors back into place. ********************************************************************* If you have an adjustment strap that is located in between the child?s foot area that allows you to loosen and tighten the straps please follow the following steps: Loosen the harness straps by pressing the harness release button that is located between the child?s legs near the feet area; while pulling on the harness straps from the front of the car seat near the shoulder area. Turn the car seat around and from the back side of the seat follow the straps down to the metal splitter plate, remove the ends of both straps from the metal splitter plate. Once the straps are removed, pull both harness straps completely through to the front of the seat. Choose the appropriate slots for the new harness position and feed both straps through from the front of the seat to the back of the seat. Making sure straps are not twisted; hook each end of the straps back onto the metal splitter plate.
