Why won't the display screen on my 2008 400 Arctic cat turn on and why will it not start from the green button?

Check the charge on the battery, should be at least 12.6 Volts DC, then look for loose or corroded connections, starting with the battery cables.

2006 attic cat 400 runs great in 4x4 but when you hit the switch to 2x4 runs bad like it's booging down

2006 arctic cat wont start

If you've got decent compression, spark and fuel and it wont run - what about about air? Clean / new air filter installed? All 4 are needed to run.

I have two sets of wires disconnect from back of arctic cat 2006 500 atv. One set is red and green other set white. Should they be plugged in?

They sound like power for lights, you can use a power meter to check for power. ............~~~~~*BB

When idling it black smoke but it dosent do it when riding just idling

This model uses an electric choke, it may be stuck on.

Sounds like the main jet in the carburetor could be clogged.

or one crazy thing... i bought a chinese scooter. same exact problem. finally after 1000s of dollars spent changed the ignition coil and it fixed the problem. bad coil may be the problem....

Buy yourself a factory parts & service manual,
at a dealer that sells those atv's & use the trouble
charts contained
You should have some type of owners manual on
basic checks,such as clutch adjustment ,etc
