I got my Euro Pro at a Thrift store and had no manual. Is there anyone who can tell me how to thread the machine. I thought I had it threaded properly, but the thread bunches up in the bottom where the bobbin is. Could someone please advise.

Could be many things. Old blunt needle, wrong tension, wrong needle and thread for the material. Have you got the same thread in bobbin and needle? Also is needle and bobbin threaded correctly?

When I am sewing, somehow the material gets caught in the bobbin area. The thread becomes entangled there and pulls the material down with it. How can I fix this?

Make sure when you thread the machine, that you have the presser foot (the foot that rides on the fabric) in the 'up' position. Also make sure you get the thread down between the discs of the upper tension. Set the tension on '4'. Usually when you get thread bunching up below it's caused by improper threading of the upper thread.
Hope this helps!

How to thread euro-pro 150 sewing machine

Hi
Try looking on here:
http://www.sewusa.com/Sewing_Machine_Threading_Diagrams.htm
Although your model number is not listed, they do have threading diagrams for other Euro-pro machines. Perhaps one is similar enough to your machine to allow you to thread it and get started.
I'm not sure what's happened to the Euro-pro site, it seems to have been taken over by Shark and no longer has a sewing machine manuals section as it did before.
Hope this helps!

My thread keeps breaking. I got this machine

Hi. I'm really glad to hear that you want to learn to sew! You're right to try to find a manual for your machine first, because your sewing machine is the most important piece of equipment you have.

You didn't say what model your Euro-Pro machine is and that's pretty important in order to find the right manual. See if there's a name plate somewhere on the machine with the model and serial number information.

I did find a manual for a Euro-Pro model 1260 at Relics: http://pages.sewing-machine-manuals.com/173/InventoryPage/1424422/1.html. Check it out and see if the drawing looks like your machine and the description sounds like yours.

Sew4less (http://www.sew4less.com/index.php) has a lot more Euro-Pro manuals, but no drawings or pictures.

I also found Euro-Pro manuals at http://homeappliance.manualsonline.com/manuals/mfg/europro/europro_sewing_machine_product_list.html.

But this may be your best bet: http://www.euro-pro.com/europro/faqhelp.aspx They have an example of where to find the model number and then you can enter the model number to find the manual.

Since you're new to sewing but want to learn, here are a couple of websites that you might be useful:

http://www.sewing.org/

http://clothing-design.suite101.com/article.cfm/a_selection_of_simple_sewing_books_for_beginners

http://www.asg.org/ (American Sewing Guild)

http://www.sewing.com/index.html

http://sewing.patternreview.com/ (they have online classes!)

Have fun surfing--one will lead to another, I guarantee!

You can visit me at my sewing blog (www.robbiesews.blogspot.com), explore the links I have there and all my posts, and ask me anything about sewing.

Happy Sewing!

The bottom thread is bunching up not keeping tight tried everything to change tension according to the manual I was hopeing I could fix my own problemit has never been serviced before

Make sure your UPPER thread is correctly threaded in the machine, put the UPPER thread tension dial to 5. you can also try it on 6, 7, etc., the higher the upper tension is set the less top thread will show on the bottom of the cloth.
