You must use a 64bit operating system in order for your pc to recognize more than 3.2 gigs of RAM. What operating system are you using? How much memory IS being recognized? thanks.

- Sometimes there is an option in the BIOS.
If there is none available, then try testing both sticks of RAM.
Remove the RAM and place one stick in the first slot. If your PC doesnt work that stick is bad. Either way remove that stick and test the next one. If they both work fine then test the slots themselves. If your motherboard supports one stick in the second slot then test both sticks in that slot.
Sometimes different RAM does not play well with certain motherboards. Is your RAM on the recommended or supported list for this motherboard? You can find this information on the manufacturer's website.
Hope that helps - wizdom
