Question about Toshiba (CD-224E) ( CD-224E, P000257580) Burner
CD player isn't playing CDs at all. Was working perfectly up until recently, but suddenly stopped and not sure why. Driver version is 5.1.2535.0 and running on a Toshiba Tecra 8200 laptop, with Windows XP Pro SP2 (version 2002). Don't know where to start. Some pointers appreciated.
Just replace the drive - the Teac CD-224E is housed in the SelectBay housing and any Teac CD-224E that came out of Toshiba will do. eBay would be your best bet. If you pay more than $10 then you must be a tourist...
