Aiwa mod. CX-ZR774 System will not power up

I assume that the Aiwa controls the other components, such as a CD changer. If these units are plugged into the rear of the Aiwa, then they may not be receiving power due to an auxiliary switch being off, or a bus breaker being blown. Breakers are on the back panel of the unit. They have a black thumbscrew that turns out counterclockwise. Take the fuse to Radio Shack to confirm if it is good or not, and good a new one if not. If the components are not connected to the Aiwa, then I have the ask the stupid question of are they plugged in, or is the surge protector that they are plugged into plugged in. Remember that even modern surge protectors have breaker switches, and may need resetting, especially after a snow or thunderstorm. Good luck.

Need code for aiwa xs-g3 so I can use universal remote

Hello
Three digit universal remote code for Aiwa are:
195/ 196
Four digit codes are:
0195 0196 0227 0269
Direct Code Entry
  1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  2. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
  4. With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand.

The red protect light comes on, i dont know how to make it go green so it will work. please help!!

Devices with several light emitting indicators would each display as observation of manufacturers installed features. Red indication is power cciuit indication, yelow as alternate warning where green is indication of regular fucntionality. Once the device is least malfunct, every light is an equal expectation. Usually with amplifeiers, the red light has to be on throughout until stereo became powered on to porduce green light effects as radio expectations.

Need to find code for Jumbo Universal Remote to use with Aiwa S2011 MTS television. Thanks for any help!

Hello
Aiwa TV is not lited on Jumbo Universal Remote codes. Anyway try out with these codes. Sometimes may help you.

Three digit codes for Aiwa TV with universal remote are:
195/ 196

Four digit codes for Aiwa TV with universal remote are:

Code Search If after trying "Direct Code Entry" your device does not respond, or if your brand is not listed, try doing a search of the code library for your code by following these steps.
  1. Manually turn on the device (TV, VCR, etc.) to be controlled.
  2. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  3. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks once, then stays on.
  4. Press the CHANNEL UP button repeatedly (up to 300 times) until the device to be controlled changes channel. The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  5. Press and release MUTE to install the code. The indicator light goes off.
Most users will want to store VCR codes under the VCR button, Cable codes under CBL, etc. If you want to store a VCR code under CBL, etc., first follow the procedure for Direct Code Entry and press CBL in step 2 of Direct Code Entry, then enter ANY VCR code in step 3 of Direct Code Entry. Then follow the steps above for Code Search.

NOTE: Switch OFF and switch ON your TV with its FRONT PANEL POWER ON-OFF SWITCH each time before trying an other code.
OK

Wharfedale ICS182 Car stereo I was wondering whether u can help me fix my car stereo. I turned ignition off, after a couple of hours went back, turned my car on. Although the radio worked without...

It's broken. I have a couple on my bench with this fault and they're not worth fixing when you can pick up replacements on Ebay for 30 quid.

NOTE: This is a really common failure mode. You're just unlucky it happened outside the warranty.

The standy light comes on put no power whats the problem please

Sounds like the power supply is shot. You can buy a new power supply, but that would require pro level re-wiring inside the stereo. I'd get a new one, aiwa doesn't make good stereo's anyways. Go with pioneer

When I turn on my aiwa stereo I hear a clicking noise and it turns off and loses power.

This is an overload protection feature. Check for speaker wires shorted to ground or a blown component.

My in-dash won't come on

yellow lead on car stereo should be going to a permanent live on car stereo wiring loom, (always 12 volts regardless of key being in or out) red lead on car stereo should be going to aux in car stereo wiring loom, (12 volts only when key in and ignition lights on) green lead on car stereo goes to earth to allow you to watch dvds whilst driving (highly illigal whilst driving!) read the manual, if this doesnt work fuse in car possibly gone?
