We have to push the on button on our TV from 20-100 times to get it to turn on. Have changed batteries and restarted to no avail.

"He said our TV has a problem". Brilliant! To be more specific, he could have suggested switch failure or a failing power supply.

LCD TV diplays blue screen on all inputs

Hi,
Nothing on all inputs would suggest the Main AV board not processing signals, if all other functions such as volume, menu access, on and off operate normally the power supply board is probably functioning OK. Have a look at shop jimmy for an idea on price and availability for Mitsubishi LT-46144 Boards and spare parts:

My screen is broken need to find the part?

May not be available but try Mitsubishi---at shop where I work we save the entire screens with the frames on sets that get recycled.

Most 50 inch screens from a Mitsubishi set of that age will work just fine if you can find a used one---the larger ones are almost impossible to find used (60 and above in size)

You can also try to Google the model number with "replacement screen".

if no parts is available have it converted, since it is only a switch. any switch will serve its purpose as long it has the same power rating

You can order a replacement STK393-110 for this model (62HM95) from a major parts distributor at the link below:

Mitsubishi WS-65511 Replacement Part Convergence IC STK393-110

You would probably have to recalibrate the convergence after you install the IC. There may be a convergence kit available as well.

How do you replace the convergence part on a Mitsubishi big screen tv Model WS55511? The new part has prongs on the bottom and I don't know how to attach them.

they have to be soldered in place after you de-solder the old ones. Radio shack has a de-soldering iron with a rubber bulb that makes this easy. Then solder your new ones in use a pencil iron 30 watt also available from radio shack. Use heat sink compound on the back of the ICs where they contact the heat sink. This compound is also a Radio shack item. Just be careful not to bridge any of the pins together with solder. Check your solder with magnifying glass before powering it up
