At home I usually charge my phone by pluggin it into the usb port (if I have left my charger somewhere!) I am at my parents house without my charger and I plugged it in to do the same. It is not working..is it becasue the software is not loaded onto this computer?? HELP!!!! (please)

If you are unable to charge your handset through usb cable., make sure that your battery is not completly drained..there should me some battery left..and you have to check that the USB port of your computer is working or not ..,other case can be the usb cable may be faulty ..so you have tio check all these conditions than only you can do the charging through the usb port of your PC
