Make sure both are in pairing mode. Then try it again.

I did some checking for you and this is what I found.

First, if you are within the 90 day period since you bought your Palm 755 you can get "free" support directly from Palm.

Second, you need to go to this website:
    http://kb.palm.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.E...

The instructions on how to make the pairing are detailed and long. If you carefully follow them you should be able to fix this problem. If it does not fix the problem, go the "troubleshooting" link at the same site and again you will have detail instructions on how to fix it. I simply can not copy all the instructions for you because there are graphics involved also.

Wish I had a simple fix but in this case I do not. Let me know how it goes. Good luck.

Palm treo sees the Motorola H505 device but will not pair or even ask for passcode.

In my earlier attemts, the H505 headset was probably never in "pair" mode although I was seeing a steady blue light or if it was, it was trasmitting previous Motorola Razor profile to which it was paired to. Once I found on Motorola website that other similar Motorola headsets (without power switch) can be reset by holding the two volume buttons and call button simultaneously for 10 seconds, I did reset the headset and there after my pairing attempt was successful..i.e. it stopped and asked me the passcode before throwing security error. Thanks for your support thought!
