It's probably a problem with your DHCP settings, if you try manually setting the IP configuration on the phone it should find the server/control unit, haven't used 46x series myself, but if you reboot the phone at some point it should give an option to configure manually, if you have another working phone you could get the IP configuration off that one, think you can find them somewhere in the option panel on a working phone.

I have to install a external ringer in Ip Phone 4610SW, because we have many devices installed in ambient so noyse, but Avaya don't have a solution for this, someone know about anything about this

Get an electronic buzzer, and install it on an analog port. Set that port to internal twin with the phones you want to ring, or put it in a hunt group.

Can an external ringer be installed on a avaya 4610sw ip phone and what do I need?

Not on the phone directly, but you can add an analog extension to teh system to ring a bell.

Depending on what system this phone is hooked up to, you could do some coverage to make it ring with a group or a single extension.

The phone has ext. 57346, but I need it to be ext. 57342.

You need to reset the phone by unplugging the cable (that provides power and dial tone - one in the same cord). When you plug the phone back in it will try to give the phone the 57346 extension. When you see the new ext? message type in 57342 and press the # key.

What is the default password for an avaya 4610sw ip phone when trying to change the extension number

Depends on what system it is on.

If an IP Office, there is no password, so when prompted, just press #.

If an S87XX server, you need to talk to the admin.

Using AVAYA 4610SW IP phone

Answer to the second problem :-

1. The changes in the ring tone has to be made by accessing the Avaya server where the phones are registered.
2. Log in to the avaya server...... enter change station <station number> on the command prompt
3. In the personalized ring pattern field, you can select one out of the 8 available options by typing any digit between from 1 to 8.

4. The ring pattern of that particular station will change accordingly.

5. Keep the personalized ring pattern of all the stations different by assigning different digits against this value
