Question about Televison & Video
I have a 37" Vizio HDTV. When I turn it on after it has been off for a few hours, the picture is great! After about 4 minutes of watching, slowing the outlines of the subjects on the television start turning green....a fuzzy halo around them, after about 30 more seconds, the entire object is green. I have adjusted the tint, color, everything and nothing changes. Does someone out there have the answer?
The basic colors in the TV is RGB & each color has a diff amplitude & frequenc. It seems that the IC controlling the RED & BLUE has lost some of it's capabilities due to lower voltage supplied/regulated by the chip, which generally happens after quite long period of usage. However this seems an inherent fault with visio & most of the early sets do not have this problem sorted out at the manufacturing level & is a problem for most of TV's which are unpredictable & could occur in a month or year. If still under warranty, pressurize your dealer/distributor/service center to sort it pronto or ........... face the consequence..........sodeep
