Question about Intel Motherboard
i am having gigabyte motherboard(81845GVMRZ), recently i have formatted my pc, and uploaded it with win xp. now the usb port doesnt detect any thing connected to it. i have looked into device manager and ita working properly. the bios also says its fine, i ahve also installed all the drivers available to it on the gigabyte website.
Try changing the settings in BIOS to high-speed USB speed support. Also physically clean the port of all dust(it happened to me and after washing it pure alcohol, the usb port started working)....sodeep
