Control of vertical TV image projected on ...

SONY Trinitron multisystem KV2566MW 24 inch The vertical image projected on the screen exceeds the top and bottom of the screen by about 10% so I miss any information which scrolls across the bottom of the screen. Can not find any button on the TV or the remote control which allow me to adjust the vertical setting of the image projected on the screen. No problem with horizontal projection.

You can try looking for 2 things

1. A button on your remote that says either: ARC, Ratio, 16:9, 4:3.... Some remotes have a picture of a square with arrows pointing out towards each corner..... I'm unfamiliar with this set, but it sounds like a widescreen, so give it a go

- It could be a setting in the manual, or your vertical deflection circuit may be faulty
