You can find the sound drivers for the dc5100 here:

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=447280&taskId=135&prodTypeId=12454&prodSeriesId=454811&lang=en&cc=us

Select the type of Operating System you are using, i.e. Windows XP, Windows 2000, etc and on the next page, you'll see all of the drivers for your system, select:

Driver - Audio It should be the one that says: ADI AC97 Integrated Digital Audio Driver
