Question about Dell Inspiron 1150 Notebook
Hi. I have had to completely wipe my computer as I had lots of viruses on it. After reinstalling windows xp - I then had to go to the dell website and download all the drivers. However I still have no sound - I've installed all the relevant drivers but my device manager is telling me there is no audio playback device on my computer. Will I have to purchase another sound card? I have a DELL INSPIRON 1150.
You probly just downloaded the worng card so try again and if that doesnt work then you might have to buy a new card.
please rate my help to you.

There is a problem with that solution this is a LAPTOP - there is no "replacing" of the card.
