With my apple iphone 3g i got all my incoming calls as unknown,what to do

Try restoring the OS in Itunes and then restore your last backup.

none. actually, you can't assign an alert tone if you have a new mail. a number in the mail icon just appears to notify you if you have a new mail.

Try your vodafone sim card in another phone, does the problem happen on that phone?

If so call vodafone and ask them to check your account

Cannot hear any callers of imcoming calls from my iPhone 3G


Removed SIM card, sync iPhone with iTunes. Reinstalled SIM card and resynced again. Incoming calls can now be heard.

Deletion of incoming calls
