------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Gmail requires ActiveX controls to be enabled

Your browser seems to be Internet Explorer, and ActiveX seems to be disabled. Gmail's standard view requires ActiveX to be enabled in order to operate.

To use Gmail's standard view, enable ActiveX controls in Internet Explorer. You can do this by going to the Tools menu, selecting Internet Options, Security tab, Internet zone, and either select the Default Level, or selecting Custom Level and scrolling down to "Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins" and selecting Enable.

After enabling ActiveX controls, try again.

To use Gmail's basic HTML view, which does not require ActiveX, click here.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    This is the problem
But when i set the security to default level, i got the same result. Its was the same even when i change it to low security.

In security setting enable Running activeX controls and pluggins. Change it to medium. And convert all the options in security settings to default level.

I want to return to my old yahoo mail not beta I dont like it at all if i can not get it retured back i will change from yahoo

After switching to beta Yahoo wouldn't allow you to return to the classic version of yahoomail. However there is a way to get through this. Turn off the Javascript of your browser. ___________________________________

In case you dont know how to turn the javascript off:
Internet Explorer: tools > internet options > security. In security click "custom level" > disable Active Scripting in the scripting section.

Firefox: tools > options > content > click on "disable Javascript".

Google Chrome: Wrench button (on the upper right of the browser) > options > Under the Hood > Content Settings button > select "Do not allow any site to run JavaScript" in the Javascript section.
___________________________________

After disabling your javascript try to reload the page of your yahoomail. Then You will be asked to enable javascript or switch back to an older version of yahoomail (located at the lower part). Of course click the option that says return to an older version of yahoomail which is the last option. After that you will be brought back to your yahoomail classic view.
After doing this, DO NOT FORGET TO TURN YOUR JAVASCRIPT ON since there are functions in yahoomail that required javascript.

Unable to view pictures in IE7

Try to install java from Java.com. Restart after installation then try again.

If it didnt work. reset IE's settings. For Internet explorer 6, go to Tools>Internet Options>Security. then click Reset Web Settings. Also, go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced. Then click restore defaults.

For Internet Explorer 7, go to Tools>options>advanced. then click 'REset".

Popup problem

Your internet setting is very correct, that is the protection setting of your explorer either the site is secure or not. but you can correct this by allowing the active X if ever will pop -up again. Either you can reset you internet setting by going to the internet option then click "security" tab. You can reset all internet setting there.

Active x controls

Hi,

I will give you a small step that you may try.
Open the Internet Explorer - On the top Click on the tab "Tools"-Under the dropdown click the last option "Internet options"

In this window you will find a tab on the top as "Security"
On the bottom left you will see a slider bar - Pull it down to "LOW"
****If you do not see the slider bad, click on the option "Default" and you will get it.
Click Apply and Click OK. Restart the computer and try again.

Note : This steps lowers your security and allows all the active X on the computer. Most of the spywares also use the medium as Active X, so please calculate the risk before you try the step.

I hope this should resolve the issue you are facing.
