Question about MSI KM4M-V Motherboard
Problem with motherboard MSI KM 4M-V, chipset KM400A 8237
I have an new SATA-II disk 500GB and it will not be reconized in BIOS.
Not either when I try to install Win-XP which have raid-drivers for the RAID included. I have tryed to press F6 under installation of XP, but then it say it alredy have an newer version of driver itselv, but then it cant find any media to install WP to.
I have the latest BIOS-version installed for the motherboard.
Excuse me for my bad english...
I'm sorry to say buddy but I checked ... Then checked some more, and I can't see anything about your motherboard supporting SATA-II. If you look about you should find a jumper setting on your HDD to limit it to SATA-I, which is about half the speed of sata-ii but I'm almost promising it will work.
Let me know if this solves it, If not I can find the jumper settings for you, But seeing as though you just bought it you should have a manual.
