Question about Computers & Internet
I have an new SATA-II disk 500GB and it will not be reconized in BIOS.
Not when I try to install Win-XP which have raid-drivrs for the motherbord included. I have tryed to press F6 under install of XP but then it say it alredy have an newer version of driver itselv, but then it cant find any media to install to.
I have the latest BIOS-version installed for the motherboard.
Excuse me for my bad english...
If the Bios does not see the disk, the operating system will not see the disk, nor will the install -even if you do an f6 to load drivers. It is most likely a problem between the motherboard not recognising the SATA-II interface. So no real solution I'm afraid. I suggest you install a SATA-II interface card which the BIOS will see, and add the card driver at f6 to install XP.
