Question about Nokia N70 Cellular Phone

Loose contact date

I have did somthing in my Nokia 70, and somehow i have lost all my new data contact, it bring out old data configration which i hvae made changed on it in the past. like old data contact, changing the setup of the phone in genral, ringing tune, key pad function.. etc). please i want to retrieve back all previous setup and my contact data which is very important to me.(my MMC is 256 mb) regards Fais

    i feel the contact data hiding somwhere whether in the memry card or in the cell memory, because i remember ididn't delete anything.

It sounds like you may have performed a master clear on your device. If this is the case all that old information is gone for good and there is no way to retrieve it. Cell phones do not have an "undelete" function or any way to retrieve information once it has been deleted.

Im sorry, a factory reset will have wiped all your data. Without a backup, its near impossible to get your data back.

Only 70 Sets Allowed Problem


Many of the Nokia Series40 user having the problem of only 70 sets allowed which does not allow user to save the new settings.

How this problem occur:
Every time a new configuration setting is saved in s40 mobile, it makes a new folder in phone memory, it remain there even if you delete that configuration and the maximum limit is only 70 folders.

So if you are facing this problem you can solve it by formating your mobile phone but the entire data from your mobile will be deleted (contact, messages, configuration settings etc.). So here is the simple way to overcome this problem without formating.

Requirements :
  • A PC with atleast 256 MB RAM
  • Original Nokia Data Cable
  • Mobile media browser like "Oxycube" [Size: 28.7 MB]. Click Here to Download.
  • Nokia PC Suite.
Lets Start the steps to solve this problem.

1. Download and install Oxycube.
2. Connect your phone using bluetooth or data cable.
3. Now in Oxycube, Go to Phone memory "C" in which u find a folder "omadm".
4. In that folder there are 70 folders naming 1 to 70.
5. Delete some of them & you are done.

Now you can save the new configuration settings.

Can u tell me how can i directly format my N- 70 mobile


power off phone, then hold * 3 and green call button together and then press power on.
if the phone asks for time zone setting then you have formatted. if not try again.
beware all your data including phone contacts number will be lost.

To subscribe to packet data you need to contact your service provider through phone or go directly to their office.
They will send you the settings for your model. Please save the settings to your phone and set it has a default settings.Then you can start using the internet in your phone.

go to the carriers web site...if you have a data plan or not can ...you can find the configurations written / or have them send straight to you cell the (the configuration for mms/and internet.....

N70 white screen issue


ei, did the repairman tells you anything, aside from the $70..is he thinking about your lcd or what?
well, im not the one who post it... but im going to give answers, ok here u go,... if your pc does'nt recognize it, you cant even place a call or recieve ...so that means ur fone is badly hurt... your firmware corrupted somehow.. it happens... so bring it back again to the repairman and tell this,, i'm not going to fix my lcd or anything , i just want you to do is flash my fone, firmware. (program) and only that.. just say plz... impersonating u'r also a some sort of tech....good luck.. and oops ... ur data's already vanish
