Question about Acer Computers & Internet
I tried using NTI CD and DVD Maker a while ago to burn a backup data DVD. It locked up, and I had to restart. When I booted again and tried another disc, the drive flashed briefly on then it said there was no disc in the drive. When I clicked on the icon for it, it told me to insert a disc.
Can the drive be damaged from restarting like that in the middle of an operation and is it fixable?
Someone push in a cd but the door would close so they decide to force the door close. so now the the disc want read

It can get damaged that way. but try rebooting yoru computer first. sometimes that can clear the problem if it just didnt load up correctly in the system. if that dont work, try rolling back the driver, if still samething then uninstall drivers and reinstall.
