You did not give a model number, however if it keeps going out then its probably going to end up spreading, if you do not send it in you may have other things fail, but here is a quick fix for yeah order/buy a soundcard that goes either in a USB/PC express slot.. I would suggest you send it in the to get the warranty you payed for- Good luck God bless
