Not long after purchase my canon laser printer ran out of toner (or so it told me), I was surprised but still went and replaced it.Now again it but i also note that the message says ! No Toner Cartridge.
Open the top cover and insert a toner cartridge.
Which is impossible because there is a new toner that was working just fine a second ago. So i'm assuming no problem with toner cartridge but something with the printer itself. Any ideas

- I have same problem as well.The printer was working fine for more than six months. Suddenly it is giving me the toner massage. I replaced the toner with an original new toner and the message never went away. I think I need to call the reseller as well. I have LBP 2900.- whiletrueApr 01, 2009
- I just bought it a week ago and have the same problem. When this error message popped up first time, I opened up the top cover and reinserted the same cartridge with couple of tries and it worked but only once. Then again I faced the same problem and never worked in one hour try. Well, I will contact the seller of this printer.-sp
