If your CDI-500 has an analog audio in, you can use it with any line level output device, which are standardized at 300mv output.

How i can connect a Gemini cdm-3610 to a laptopand which cabes i can use

It depends on what connections the laptop has. Most have an audio in socket. So you can use that. All you need is to find a audio out on the deck. I looked at an illustration and it has an headphone socket. So you could use that. Just keep the volume control low.

Iphone mode

For most alpine unit there is a separate unit to control the iPhone and is very easy is just a plug and play connection. Find a compatible unit for your deck.

Intrigue stereo shows clock and gets power but doesn't light up and play CD or radio

There can be up to three separate power lines to the radio - ignition, dash light and auxiliary (always on). Check the ignition power wire for good connection and possible blown fuse.

Can I make a USB port out of my laptop plug into an AC input on the Bose Series II Sound Dock so I can play music from my laptop?

What you want to do won;t work and can damage your laptop and or Bose.
If you want to play sounds from your laptop to your Bose, you need to plug an audio lead from the headphone socket on your laptop and connect the other end of this audio lead into the audio input on your Bose Sound Deck (if it has an Aux input).

Is there some way to connect an ipod to a Philips mc-m570 stereo?

the interface will probably only work with the phillips software, but many of those stereos support playing from a flash drive.

Connecting laptop to mixing deck!!

OK, try to increase the earphone socket volume by clicking on the 'speaker' icon on the task bar.

Sometimes it is not set to maximum volume in Windows' sound settings, to get full volume going to the mixing deck.

I know a DJ who used the same method to get very loud and clear sounds from his music collection at dances and parties.

Hope this helps!

Casette to disc

to convert music from cassett to disk u need to connect the cassett player headphone jack / line out jack to ur PC/laptop mike / line in jack....then play the music and record it in a software(Nero Sound editor etc)
then once that's done save it as mp3 file on to ut PC and trf it to ur cd/disk....u can just copy it as mp3 or create a music cd using Nero...from the mp3 file
the difference is if u just copy the mp3 on to the cd then only a mp3 player/mp3 music system deck can play it... if it's created as a music cd then any cd player can play it....just like any music cd that u buy in the mkt...
a 700 mb disk can hold almost 7 to 10 hrs of music in mp3 format....
but a music disk can hold only 80 mins of music

Play CD deck through pc

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Yes, it is possible. The Cambridge CD4 deck would be an external signal source of the sound card of the computer. Basically, the R/L Audio OUTPUT of the deck would be connected to the AUX or LINE IN of the PC. A RCA to stereo 3.5mm plug would be needed similar to what is shown below.

Thereafter, enable the AUX/LINE IN in both playback and recording modes of the Volume Control Properties.

Good luck and thank you for using FixYa.

Cdm 500 not reading disk 1

First, try the disc that plays OK in deck 2 in deck 1. This will eliminate the disc as the problem. If the disc won't play in deck 1, then the laser pick-up is on it's way out. There is no easy fix for this, it will require the attention of an engineer.

Connection help

Nope. There are no input connections on the DZ1200. However, you can use programs like Serato, CUE, TRAKTOR, or PCDJ, and you can keep your music on your computer/hard drive, and control with the DZ1200 via specially coded CDs.
