    no! cant sign in.
running xp updated service pack 3
    office 2003 up to date
    eset anti virus
    spybot search & distroy
    pg2

dont use this email system. prefer gmail & fastmail.fm

used to have yahoo messenger. deleted it as it was too intrusive.
    my skype works ok.
ohhh! might it be messenger needs access through firewall?
had messenger and it put an exception in firewall with a tick.[always untick when not using service] assumed live messenger would do the same. does it use old messenger link.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

hello there,
if i was you i would totally forget about avg because that is 1 of the worst antiviruses you can get and get eset nod 32 it is free will never give you a problem at all updates it self you dont have to update it
and when you have downloaded it it will ask for activation key
here are the steps to get the activation key,
1. go to www.youtube.com
2. type in eset nod32 antivirus serial key
3. click on one of the videos
4. look in the description or look through the video
5. it should have a key there then copy and paste that key into eset nod 32
6. and it will say completed

hope this helped

My windows live messenger account will not sign in even though my passord and username are correct. the error code given is 80072745

This is generally a firewall problem. Try reseting your router first. If that doesn't work, make sure your software firewall applications are allowing msn traffic on port 1863.

Windows live messenger

Error: 80072745 If you are encountering the error code 80072745 when you sign into Messenger try the following: 1. If you are connected to the Internet through a router, remove the connection to the router. Then, directly attach the network or modem cable to the computer. This will help determine whether the issue is related to a firewall setting on the router. Try to sign in to Messenger after you connect to the Internet. If you can connect to Messenger after bypassing your router, the issue may be related to router settings. Try resetting your router (Note: This may revert your settings back to factory default settings and may delete all your custom settings.). Please contact your router manufacturer's Help documentation or customer support channels to determine how to reset your router or enable port 1863 through the router firewall. 2. If you are signing in from a corporate environment, contact the network administrator to determine whether port 1863 is being blocked inside the network.
3. If you have Zone Alarm with IM Security installed on the computer, turn off IM Security for Messenger: 3.a. Right-click the Zone Alarm icon in the notification area, and then open the Control Center.
3.b. Click IM Security or click Security to open the IM Security settings window.
3.c. Click the Main tab or the Status tab.
3.d. Slide the Protection Level slider to Off to turn off IM Security.
Note: This procedure will change the IM Security settings for any instant messaging programs that are installed on the computer.
3.e. Sign in to Messenger again to determine whether the issue is resolved.

4. If you are connecting to the Internet using a Wireless Data card through a mobile phone network, please contact your mobile internet provider to verify if you need to additional data plans that enable you to connect to the Messenger service. Hope that helps!
