Go to the below link to download that dll. Click the small download button(lower right) You need to extract it to c:\windows\system32\ You will need to boot in safe mode to avoid that error on boot To do so press F8 repeatedly as it boots until a menu comes up, choose safe mode.

You have to check your motherboard or video card model, then search for the driver from their official website for windows xp home edition compatible. You can update sp3 before or after installing the driver of your video card! That is the reason why you ca not change the settings on your resolution because the windows xp home edition sp2 are probably no available driver for your video card. Have a nice day!

Did you verify if the graphics card that you have is compatible with the operating system of your computer? If yes, there's a possibility that the correct driver is not loading in your computer.

First, verify if the disc that came with the graphics card contains the Win XP SP3 driver.

Perform a system restore first, and then try to re-install the driver again.

If same problem occur, contact the manufacturer of the graphics card.

Good luck!

Installed xp hot fix, then aardvark would not work, so I uninstalled hot fix. Now when I install cd for software, I get aarkthk.dll not found. Please help

All aardvark interfaces will only work well with xp sp1 or earlier 2000/win98. Also, dont simply uninstall SP2, 3. You have to unistall/reinstall xp, xpsp1 and then if needed, go to the microsoft download pages and get all the updates prior to SP2. Pay attention and make sure you dont install SP2. Do all of this with the pci card pulled and all aardvark drivers uninstalled/deleted. Then install per aardvark's instructions. I dont recommend internet usage without SP2. You will be vulnerable to attacks even with the best protection.

Go to the website for both the sound card and the video card. But you might already have the latest drivers, it may just be an issue with the game settings.
