To Change the language to English of Samsung SGH-i900 OMNIA. Follow the given instructions

1. First of all Download Samsung Omnia Operating System ZHHH2
2. Now hold your OMNIA in your hand Press the Dial key to the left of the optical pad to bring up the dialer. Keypad will open
With the onscreen keypad press *#1546792*#
Now Select "Preconfiguration"
Now enter code *#81230*# and select OK
Select "Hong Kong" with the default Operator
Accept this, DEVICE WILL HARD RESET

3. Now open i908ZHHH2_ENG from download folder which you have downloaded in step 1

4. Turn off the Samsung SGH-i900 OMNIA

5. Connect the OMNIA to a PC using the usb cable

6. Turn on the OMNIA

7. Click start button if the device found & wait for job done message

IT IS SAID THAT IF U HAVE BOUGHT THE MOBILE IN ITALY IT WOULD BE IN ITALIAN.

HI, what you need to do is to go to settings on your phone...visit your phone setting and select language settings, select English Language.

Your Samsung Omnia (SGH-I900) supports only one default language. There is no way to add/change additional languages to your mobile phone.

Go to Main Menu/settings/system/Regional Settings

Change the location here. If you have the problem still then try doing the hard reset in the same location. Once the phone restarts, then specify your region and language.

Do remember to backup your data before doing the hard reset. I hope it helps

On the phone, go to Start>Settings>System>Regional Settings, change to English, but I tried it just now (but on a different phone, but windows mobile, like the omnia) it didnt change anything..

You need a english rom, which you can get from Samsung's Website
I tried to find the model number you gave me but couldn't find it, maybe it was bought elsewhere? If so, make sure you change the region/location on the website.

my husband gave me ah gift samsung omnia i900 he buy in rome italy i can't use it because the phone is in italian language how can i set the phone in english languge.
