Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
I connect to the internet via an ATT wireless USB card. I have a Sony Vaio laptop and I'm running windows Vista. Every time I connect my HP photosmart C4440 printer I lose my internet connection. I regain my internet connection after disconnecting the printer. I am totally stumped and frustrated any help is appreciated.
I am assuming that you also connect your printer via USB cable. If so, it is possible that there is a conflict of your printer and wireless card in your USB settings.
To check if there are any conflicts, click on "system" in your control panel, select "device manager" , and look for your wireless card, printer and usb ports in the list of devices.
Double click on these devices and then click on the "resources tab at the top. Check to see that the resources are free and that there are no conflicting resources.
Let me know if this helps to resolve your problem.
