You can also plug in your Keyboard/mouse (any usb type keyboard and/or mouse will work with a PlayStation 3). That will allow you to navigate the PS3 XMB Menu, as follows:
1) Prepare the BD Controller.
2) Go to: (Settings) > (Accessory Settings)...
3) Select [Register BD Remote Control].
4) Follow the on-screen instructions to register the BD remote control.
When the registration, or pairing, is complete, your system will assign a controller number to the remote.
Hints
- You can register only one BD remote control at a time. If you register another BD remote control, you will overwrite information on the currently registered device.
- After you reach the maximum of seven active wireless controllers, you cannot register or use a BD remote control.
- Registering the BD remote control with another PS3 system will clear the device registration from the first PS3 system.
- For details on the BD remote control, refer to the instructions supplied with the remote.
