Question about Samsung DVD-V2000 DVD Player/VCR

Programming Remote for TV

I've searched all across the internet, and I cant seem to find the instructions on how to program the remote to work with our television. I know which button to press, but no one seems to specify if I'm supposed to hold it down while pressing in the codes, or if I hold it for a few seconds, release, and then enter the codes. We managed to get it to work on another tv once, but when we tried it again on the same tv to see if it worked, we could not get it to work again. If anyone can tell us how to get the dvd-v2000 remote to work with a hitachi Television, we'd greatly appreciate it.

How do i manually eject a dvd without the remote control for my Tv dvd combi?

Try to set it by an other set-up code said for your device brand, and then check. Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. The site has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Set-up code list to many brand remote controls also is given. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.
Programming Notes
• If your device does not respond to the remote after trying all codes listed or your brand is not listed in the code list, use the Auto Code Search method to program your remote.
Sometimes the first code that "works" with your device may operate only a few functions of your device. There may be another code in the code list that performs more functions. Try other codes from the code list for more functionality.
This is a trial and error procedure; and quiet time consuming. You might have to check different codes said for your device.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; in the "Search box at the top right of the display window" to get gathered related posts.

Do you have a universal remote? Sometimes they will forget their programming, especially when batteries are removed, or get low. If you have the codes and instructions for your remote, I would try reprogramming it. If that doesn't work, take it back to the company that did the cleaning. It worked when you sent it to them, or at least if it didn't this wasn't wrong with it. Seems to me they hold some liability in this, and should make it right without charging you.

Does anybody know the programming code for my Sony N460 Blu-Ray Player to hook up with my universal remote for AT&T Uverse? I've tried nearly every code both manually and automatically yet nothing...

Codes are stored in the remote. You can use the code search function of your Uverse remote to find a suitable code. If a thorough search through all available codes fails, you may have to try another universal remote. Different remotes have different code libraries.

Vcr not responding to remote

If hooked up right the play button should work, if on wrong channel and no switch on rear to select 3 or 4 it might be the remote.

The remote can itself be tested--all shops have a tester--point remote at it and press any button and tester will react or not.

Many digital cameras can also be used in the same way in a VERY dark room. Point remote at the powered up camera and look for a tiny flash on the camera display itself when pointed at the camera and buttons pressed.

Test the remote first.

I can not program my AT&T remote control to control my SHarp DVD BluRay BD-HP20. I have tried the easy find feature and every Sharp code I have found on the internet and the AT&T website for Sharp...

You may try these codes: 1311, 3163, 1312, 3164, 3176, 2174 and 3177
If none of these codes work try the steps bellow:

Programming with the Automatic Code Finder
The automatic code finder cycles through all possible codes for the type of equipment you are programming until the correct code has been found.

  1. To program your remote control with the automatic code finder feature make sure that the Sharp AQUOS Blu-ray Disc Player is ON.
  2. To control your disk player: With the equipment on, PRESS AND HOLD DOWN, the AUX Mode Key on the remote control. The mode keys are located across the top of the AT&T U-verse remote control. While holding down the AUX Mode Key, press and release the OK button. If done correctly the Mode Keys will blink twice. The remote is now ready to be programmed.
  3. The next step is to enter the code for the automatic code finder feature. That code is 922. Enter the code 922 using the Remote Control's keypad. You have 10 seconds to enter this code before the remote times out. When 10 seconds have elapsed the Mode Keys will flash once. If this happens just start over.
  4. The next step is start the automatic code finder search. Make sure you aim your remote control at the equipment. Then press and release the play button on the remote control. Now press the Fast Forward key multiple times until the equipment turns off. Then press Enter to save the code. Your remote now has the correct code. If done successfully the Mode buttons will flash three times. Press the Power button again to turn on the Disk Player.
  5. When the code has been entered correctly, the appropriate Mode Key will flash three times. To check to see if this code works, press the Power button. If the Disk Player does not turn off, then the code is wrong and we need to try another code.
Keep me posted for clarifications.

Dish network

With the dish remote and do a code search as described in the remote manual and see if you can find it that way. If you go through the entire code search and none of them turn off the VCR/DVD combo, then there is nothing you can do, as those codes in the remote are all stored in the remote and they cannot be programed in. If you do not have a remote manual to set up the remote, to do a code search, simply go to the dishnetwork web site and search for it.
