Question about Audio Players & Recorders
GMC 2005 SLT - The low fuel light comes on and I fill the tank. The tank is not empty and after I fill the tank the gas gauge will only register 1/2 or 1/4 tank. What could I do to correct this problem. It is a problem not to know the correct amount of gas in the tank. I have been writing down the mileage whenever I fill up and watching the odometer so I could fill it after 200 miles has registered on the total miles. Any advice? Thanks, Bill Gary
Chances are the float is stuck.
it works pretty much like a toilet tank
try to bounce the rear of the vehicle up and down when tank is middle full
this may free the floatting device and start the real reading
