Try emailing CO-Windler@Weltenschule.de. Also visit his website at http://weltenschule.de/TableHooters/index.html. Look at the TableHooters modification FAQ. He has some good info on circuitry and components. I hope this helps somewhat.

A gap occur when i change tones on my juno G i.

Yep! When changing VOICE's (we don't call them tones) the generator chips and processing within the synth has to clear out the old voice generation and free up the generators for the new selections. As fast as the processors are, gaps can occur.

Some of the higher end synths are much faster or have so many generators available and processing power that they can do a more orderly transistion.

I am not sure how many generators the JUNO has, but tyoically two are used for every note being keyed. The specs say 128 note polyphony which should be the number of generators... HOWEVER they say these are SHARED with the audio track section. Layering of voices will also divide the number of available generators.

A lot of the arranger keyboards are NOT intended to be played LIVE and as a result transistions of voices are not done on the fly smoothly.

Casio Headphone / line out connector broken - need electronic part number of headphone output connector (7 pin), or a schematic or description of switching options to find suitable replacement

The quickest thing to do is to match the connector with catalog illustrations at either Digikey.com or Mouser.com.

Search first for 1/4 inch, then filter selection with STEREO and PCB or circuit board mounted.
There is likely switches involved to turn off the speakers.

Finding a Casio parts list for the unit could be a major undertaking AND the part number would likely be a house number that you can only use directely from Casio.

Here is a link to some of the candidate ones:

http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll

For those without an image, click on the part number and go to the PDF spec sheet for image.

My WK- 3700 Casio keyboard is malfunctioning.

One portion of the key scanning matrix has gone bad. First thing is to clean the contacts with 99% isoprophyl alcohol. These USUALLY consist of traces on a circuit board that conductive rubber "pills" under silicone rubber domes are pressed down. Each note usually has two contacts, one closes before the other. This creates "velocity" measurement for the key. IF ONE of the contacts for a key doesn't work, the velocity can detect that the note has actuated, but no release occurs.

This would be on the "STROBE" line for either the first or second contact for THE OCTAVE you have problem with. There are disconnect diodes that prevent sneak paths.

You could have one bad diode, a crack in the circuit board, or a bad connection to the keyswitch board.

I fixed the dead keys on my Casio WK-200 keyboard. Now some...

Most of these have VELOCITY sensing and that involves two contacts per note. If the velocity sense on those notes is somehow not working, broken wire or trace on the board or short that MIGHT cause your problem.

Hi,I am getting a Casio CTK-810 in the next couple of days. Can I adjust or Edit the main piano sounds and save them within the keyboard to recall later,Thanks,Alex Ireland

No. There is however a function to store 4 "registration" settings for easy recall, in case you want to change sounds in the middle of a song. Those settings are erased when the keyboard is turned off.

Hope this helps!

Remove all power sources for at least 2 minutes. That means removing the batteries and power cord completely from the K board. Then try again. If that doesn't do it, it'll be time for a service visit...accordianman
