Question about Panasonic TC-32LX70 Television
I unplugged the cable coming into the house to do some rerouting. After I hooked the cable back up, I have a buzzing or a hum coming from the speakers. I've checked the connections and all are good. I put a DVD in and the noise goes away. Any thoughts? I assume it has to do with the cable. But how?
You may have rerouted your cable too close to a live connection. The magnetic field from the power line is causing interference on the television cable. You will need to either reroute the cable or shield it from the interference. This can be done with a metal covering separating The wires from the cable. It can also be caused by a bad ground connection in the house. The bad ground will allow noise to appear on the ground of the cable and interfering with it. Check to make sure you have a good ground connection on the cable and the power cables connections. I hope this information helps you with your problem.

Double check the coax cable, make sure you have a good cable.
Are you only getting the noise from watching Cable?
