Steve, it seems you don't much about the Bronica SQ series. The lens includes the leaf shutter. There is no shutter in the camera. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bronica)
It's possible the shutter or aperture blades are being stuck open. a CLA for that lens might be necessary.
