Question about Computers & Internet
I have a Gateway computer with Windows 98 running on it. When I start it up it automatically goes to a black screen that says Enter Current Password, but there isn't a password on the computer. I can't find a way to get around this. Please Help!!
I'm not sure if this will work but it may be that your system bios is asking for a password. If so, as you reboot the system, press F8 down until the system bios screen appears. Then page thru to see if the bios is asking for a system password. If so, you should be able to deactivate it thru the bios.
Hope this works.
