Anything that is suppose to be white is green.

There is a green cast over everything and it is more on the right side

Same problem - similar TV. Started out with the right side of the screen turning green, and has spread to the full screen now. Have adjusted colors, tried a new lamp, still the same problem. This TV is not that old, bummer.

Check all of your connections, if they check out then the most likely cause would be a failure of the Optical Block.

Four wires coming from needle to cable, two are shield and two are left and right channels. Which color goes where

Actually it's not to hard to connect them. All you need is a stereo record where you know a sound of something is on the right or left channels. I use to have a Goodies LP where a one of them would say "bounce to the left" and the other said "bounce to the right" these coming on the respective channels.
To set it up just stick the red (right) on one of the cartridge pins and white - left on the opposite side - not underneath it. Then connect the other two to the pins below them. Play your test record. And if the sound which is supposed to be on the right channel come on the left - swap the two red and white wires around.
If the sound sounds (tinny spaced) out then swap the same side wires around.
So if you have say Red Green, Make it Green Red. If it is tinny only on one channel, don't switch the other channel around.
For example the right is tinny - do the above - but leave the other White Blue.
By the way some cartridges do have L and R marked on them and + and - for the channel types. " -" being for the green or blue wires.

Green pictures

Assuming the camera is not faulty the most frequent reason for a green tint is the selection of the wrong white balance in the camera menu. The menu will contain "AWB", "daylight", sometimes represented by a stylised sun logo and indoor. If you use "daylight" for indoor photos the pictures will have a green cast. Select "AWB" for generally acceptable results. If the pictures have a green cast on outdoor pictures you have a problem

Pink cast to all images now

It sounds like your white-balance is off on the magenta side of things. This could be caused by a number of factors, though I would explore your camera's white balance setting to make sure it's set for the right lighting situation. If changing your white balance setting fails, it may be a more serious issue with your sensor or other camera hardware, requiring a professional to repair it.

I doubt that the monitor is on its way out, the yellow cast is indicative that either the vdu cable is damaged, or more likely, the inner circuits are failing, you may need to replace the monitor

I doubt that formatting the card will do anything but, if you choose to do that, download any pics first since formatting will completely erase the card. Have you tried going back to "Auto WB" to see if your camera works properly that way? How about going into the menu and finding "reset" to get back to factory default settings?

Green cast on all channels

Hey Sandjk, I have a 3 yr old sony 60a2000. It has been turning green for the last 3 months. I thought it was the bulb needing replacement, so I just changed it. $250 down the drain. Its no better at all. I have to go to settings-picture-custom- advanced settings-white balance- and take the g-gain and g-balance to minimum values. do it for the cool and warm 1 settings. then when you cycle thru the cool neutral warm settings you will see a big difference. Not great but watchable. let me know what you think or if you found a better solution.

Look in System Preferences for Universal Access, there is a Display option which says Black on White(the normal setting) and White on Black (the setting that has been enabled).

There is a keyboard short cut to change the setting, it involves pressing four keys - Apple, Option, ^ and 8.
