2008 Jayco Eagle 31bhds furnace and air conditioner problem

Our Jayce Eagle Trailer's furnace and air conditioner just stopped working. The air conditioner will not come on and the furnace won't come on. We have checked the fuses and they are fine.

Check your power source coming to the unit. also check to mack sure you have the unit set for A/C if your air conditioning. Also on most furnaces there is a kill switch when you remove the doors, usually on bottom. make sure that button is pushed in, if not it will completly kill the power to everytihng.

Interior lights inop jayco pop up tent trailer

I have a 99 Jayco Eagle Tent Trailer and had this issue of no interior lights. I discovered that the kill switch was stuck in the off position. On my trailer, it was located on the inside of the roof about 1 ft. from the end of the roof where the electrical wires come down the black protective tubing. This is on the road side of the trailer.

We have a Brisk Air in our 1991 Jayco Eagle. The travel trailer is from Rhode Island and we're not sure if the air was ever used. The unit turns on, the compressor engages but doesn't blow cold air, only...

Really sounds like the compressor isn't coming on. Go on top of camper and take the housing off. Now then engage the air conditioner and feel the compressor. Touch the copper lines to feel any temp. change. Now then if it isn't coming on look for the capacitor. Silver looking can that is the item to check. They are duel purpose they run the fan and the compressor. Unplug the electricity and remove the capacitor remembering the wires and were they went. Now take to parts house and they will be glad to check it. Should only cost about 15 bucks for new one. Get the same rated size. be good to go. ken
