The Dial is the thermostat setting. The rocker switches control the power. Turning on both switches activates the highest power setting. This will keep the heating operation as hot as possible. But it will use the most energy. Turning the switches only one at a time gives you the option of using less electricity at a lower amperage setting. Usually one is the lowest setting. The other is medium and both turned on is high.

Are all windows not working ? Two separate circuit breakers left & right . Both in rear fuse box . Fuse Block - Rear Beneath the left rear seat
Check for broken wires inside the rubber boot from body to doors.
Do you know about electronic control modules ?
The power window system consists of the following components:
?€¢
Driver door module (DDM)

?€¢
Passenger door module (PDM)

?€¢
Body control module (BCM)

?€¢
LR power window switch

?€¢
RR power window switch

?€¢
Window up and window down relays in each of the rear passenger window switches

?€¢
Window lockout switch

?€¢
Reversible power window motors in each of the doors (circuit breaker protected)

?€¢
LT DOOR CB 25A (System power for left rear window)

?€¢
RT DOOR CB 25A (System power for right rear window)

The power window system will operate anytime the retained accessory power (RAP) system is active or when the ignition switch is in the ACCY or ON position.
The DDM contains 4 power window switches which are integral components. Closing any of the normally open, rocker type switches provides the DDM with a request for power window operation. The switches for the 2 front windows have 3 positions Up, Down and Express Down, while the switches for the rear windows have only 2 positions, Up and Down. Each of these switches and their positions is a direct input into the DDM. Upon receiving a request for power window operation, the DDM, transmits a class 2 message indicating the switch and it's changed position.
The PDM contains a single power window switch that is an integral component. Closing of this normally open, rocker switch provides the PDM with a request for the front passenger power window operation. The switch for the front passenger window has 2 positions Up and Down. Each of these switch positions is a direct input to the PDM.
The 2 rear passenger doors have there own switches. Each of the switches contain a power window up and down relay. A switch activation alone can control the up and down functions of the rear windows. However the BCM, upon receiving a class 2 message from the DDM, can control the set of relays which will activate the rear window motors.

How can I tell what size my cam is on a sbc

attach an angel /degrees disc to the crank shaft. fix a dial indicator to the inlet rocker. turn the crank until the rocker just starts to move. set the plate to read 0 degrees turn the crank until the dial indicator now moves back down. When it has stopped moving read the number of degrees that the crank has turned. repeat the operation for the exhaust rocker. the two readings will give you what size the cam is. of course if the cam is out in your hand the size will be stamped in the end of it.

The clock dial on my grasslin analog timer does not correspond to the time on the "2:00" arrow. how do i realign the clock dial to be in line with the arrow?

I don't know what the 2:00 o'clock arrow is.
KM series Arrowhead is located to right side of timer dial.
To set clock, manually rotate timer dial clockwise until current time lines up with arrowhead

If this is not your timer, then add a comment with description of timer for possible help

How to measure tappet clearance with dial gauge

When setting tappets, it has to be born inind that the valve stem wears an indentation into the face of the rocker. This prevents a really accurate tappet adjustment, so the customer is right again. If you do not posess a tappet setting dial gauge, a normal engineers dial gauge will do just as well. The procedure is the same as using your feeler gauge except that you set the dial gauge up on the cylinder head with the pointer resting on the head of the rocker. Press down fairly firmly on the rocker valve end and zero the gauge. Next lift up on the rocker and read off the clearance, from the gauge, Use a magnetic base to support your gauge and repeat the pocedure for each valve pair.

Change time on car radio model kd-g220

1. Press and hold "select" on the faceplate until the display changes.

2. Using the up/down rocker switch at the right of the faceplate, cycle through the PSM (Preferred Settings Menu) until you get to "Clock H".

3. Use the dial control (left end of faceplate) to select the hour. Note that it's not a 24h clock, just 1 to 12 are available.

4. Use the rocker switch to select "Clock M".

5. Use the dial to select the minute from 00 to 59.

6. Press "select" to return to regular operation; you may wish instead to use the rocker switch to cycle through other PSM options for the dimmer, scroll and woofer.

If you want more details then you can download the manual from JVC here.

I hope that you have found my posting to be of assistance, all I ask in return is that you return the favour by rating my answer. If you still have not solved your problem then add a comment instead and I'll offer further help.

Just installed a T101. Unit will not switch to on position works perfectly to off position. Can it be adjusted.

Yes.

Programming Instructions for the Intermatic T101 - 24 Hr. Dial Time Switch:
1. TO SET ON AND OFF TIMES: Hold trippers agains edge of clock-dial, pointing to time (AM or PM) when ON and OFF operations are desired, tighten tripper screws firmly. For additional tripper pairs on CLOCK-DIAL order 156T1978A.

2. TO SET TIME-OF-DAY: Pull CLOCK-DIAL outward. Turn in either direction and align the exact time-of-day on the CLOCK-DIAL (the time now, when switch is being put into operation) to the pointer. DO NOT MOVE POINTER.

Operating Instructions:
* To operate switch manually: move manual lever below clock-dial left or right as indicate by arrows (graphics) This will not efect next operation.
* In case of power failure, reset clock-dial to proper time-of-day. See Programing Instructions (top lines).

Good luck (reemmber rated this help).

Sound going in & out

What is happening is that she is accidently pressing the "up" portion of the rocker switch on the left side of the phone when she flips the phone open. You will notice (try this on purpose)that when you open the phone while holding the rocker switch up, that there are no key sounds when dialing a number. Oh yes, the number will dial and even show connected on the screen--but no sound!!!. Now, to hear the dialed number ringing, you must press the speakerphone button below the rocker switch. You don't have to turn on the speaker phone, just pressing this button restores sound. On the next call however, the sound will STILL not work until you press the 4 way toggle button in the center of the phone. Now the phone is restored to normal status. It took me about five hours and a million combinations of buttons to figure this out. See my post, from 121212. thanks tylervance1@yahoo.com
