Question about Microsoft Computers & Internet
I lost my product key for my Windows Vista Starter. I'm really confused. Under the control panel there is information about the system, and it says my product ID at the bottom, but when I go to activate windows and type it in, there are several characters that it says are invalid...... So I downloaded a keygen/key finder, and it gave me a completely different key (which also confused me). I typed that in, all valid characters, but it said that that key was already in use. I keep getting a message that if I don't activate windows within a certain number of days, it will stop working. I need my computer for my classes, and am graduating from college soon. PLEASE HELP!

Do not use a keygen. Download and install this: http://www.belarc.com/Programs/advisor.exe and it will tell you what your key is. Write it down, but more important copy/paste it into the activation screen so things don't happen like putting in the letter o instead of numeral 0, transposing letters and/or numbers and the like.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
