Hi There, The GSD components are now discontinued. You have to buy a new head unit to replace as a drop in unit. If you are in Australia you can buy one here they are not cheap thought at $490
It could be a few issues. It could be a thermister switch, carbon brushes or electrical. you could take it to a repair shop with free estimates. This way they will diog. the problem and might be able to save you some $$$$$
