Rock box?? ok well heres the story i was at school i went to the library to use a pc and some left their sansa e250 plugged in lol so i took it home... now wen i turn it on some wierd rockbox thing comes up instead of the usual cycling between the animated pictures (camera, music, etc.). so what i did was i went on my computer and deleted the rockbox thing and now when i turn on the sansa it says cannot find rockbox and then shuts off so then i went to the rockbox website and downloaded a zipped sansa rockbox file and i unzipped it and put it in the sansa folder. but now when i turn it on it still says cannot find rockbox so my 2 questions are how can i get rockbox back and also how do i get it back to the normal screen instead of the rockbox screen??????

I put videos on it but i cant watch them on my sansa e250 when i plug the micro into it

The Sansa only plays videos from its internal memory. You can put music on a microSD card, but not photos nor videos.

To sync music you have to first open the Rhapsody music player (If you don't have Rhapsody you have to download it fom the Sansa disk or you cannot add music). From there you can drag the songs you want from your library onto the icon in the list on the left that says "Sansa e250". On that screen there is a bar at the bottom that tells you how much space is left on your Sansa.

Hope this helps!

Cannot delete the songs on mp3

I do mine through Windows Media Player
1)Plug in Sansa
2)Open up Windows Media Player and wait for the Sansa e250 icon to show up under the library. First time, might say 'What device is this' or 'Autoplay'-for autoplay, you click 'sync media files to Sansa e250 using WIndows Media Player'
3)When library shows, click 'Sync' if it is not already there.
4)Just simply click and drag the songs you want from the computer library to the list pane on the side.
5)Once your done, click 'Sart sync'

1)Plug in
2)Wait for the icon under Library in WIndows Media Player
3)Go to Songs under Sansa e250
4)Right click desired songs and choose Delete. You only want to delete from Sansa e250-nothing else

Bad Song caused screen to go blank!

move the button HOLD switch ON,to see orange.Hold down REC button and with the REc button holding down, connect the player to the computer.this is Recovery Mode.If your computer recougnize your plaer like 16mbFormat,everything is ok,in this case do as i say in the following text.(if it doesn't been recougnized by the computer...i can't help you)Go to START-PROGRAMS-ACCESORIES-NOTEPAD.IN the new text notepad,do not write anything,go to file-save as.In the box "Save as type" select "all files" and in the box "file name" write :sansa.fmt
Save the notepad file on desktop and copy it in your "16mbFormat"sansa player in recovery mode.16mbFormat is the name of your player in recovery mode wich you will find in My computer.Do not copy anything at music or other files.after that disconect your player and enjoy.this is FORMAT in Recovery MOde.

Sansa e250 won't turn on

Worked for me too.

I just plugged connected my e260 via synch cord to my PC and imdiately changed my mind, unplugging it. Froze it with green connecting arrows, but no "connecting" title at the top. Upon pressing the power button, the device screen went blank as if off (but I could just barely see that it was still on).

Pulling the battery worked to reset it. It restarted when I turned it on again and is now synching.

I can't put songs on my Sansa Sandisk e250....

Hey to get music onto the Sansa e250R you have to plug the Sansa into the computer. Next go to mycomputer. Then onen ethier sansa or Removable Disk(F:). Then take the songs you want and drag them on to the white space under photos and vidos and all that other files. DO NOT PUT IT IN A FILE.
