The new Apple iPhone 5C is very similar to the iPhone 5 both in software and hardware. The real difference between the two is their appearance. Differently from the older iPhones 4s and 5, and the newer iPhone 5S, made of alluminium and glass, the iPhone 5C has an outside structure of polycarbonate, which makes the phone more resistant and similar to other plastic-based phones. Another big change was the color range. The iPhone 5C comes in 5 different very bright colors, only seen on iPods before.
No the IMEI is not on the new tray.
You can change the back of the phone or it's "outer body" except changing the sim tray is very very easy.
Changing the back/ outerbody of the phone is the most labor intensive part: It includes removing EVERY piece of the phone including all tiny buttons and clear lenses and even a few pieces attached with adhesive. Then placing each one of those pieces into the new iphone case, glue the pieces in and reassemble.
Changing sim tray takes like 1 minute,
Changing back of the iphone 3g takes 3+ hours of very careful tinkering.
The iPhone 3G has all the features of the first one, plus faster 3G data downloads, GPS, and a better battery life. Externally, the phone's casing is slightly changed, with a thinner edge and thicker middle, but a flush headphone jack and solid-colored back make up the only other major differences visually. Everything else from the screen to the number of buttons and switches on the outside are the same.
