Question about Body Solid Powerline Preacher Curl Bench
I'm a paraplegic. Before I buy the Spartan Sports preacher curl bench, item 3118044 , I need to make sure I can stradle the seat with the wheel chair. What's the height of the seat at its lowest setting? How wide is the back foot below the seat?
I believe that the seat can likely be removed and give you the clearance you're looking for by pulling it completely off of the frame.
I have to guess at the rear foot width by comparison to usual seat size...I'd say 24". But since you won't be putting any of your bodyweight on that end of the frame, I think it would be perfectly acceptable to NOT install the rear foot so that you won't have to worry about trying to roll over it. Instead a piece of wood of comparable thickness but much shorter can be bolted on in it's place.
