Question about Malber WD1000 Front Load Washer/Dryer
Hi, we've never had a problem with the washer/dryer before. But recently, as soon as the water starts to enter the machine it begins leaking out of the bottom front. I checked my hoses for kinks and felt all the connections and it wasn't leaking from any of those. It seems to be coming out from under the machine somewhere! Big problem because it is leaking through the floor into my neighbors ceiling! Yikes! Please help!
The pump filter seals in a most unintuitive way. It works well, but is hard to figure out and troubleshoot. If it becomes unsealed or pops out, the machine will leak horrendously.
Open trapdoor at bottom right of machine. If you see water leaking from around the filter handle, then proceed; if not, your problem is elsewhere. Pull on the filter handle, turning counterclockwise if necessary, until the filter comes out of the machine. Hold the filter in one hand and turn the handle counter-clockwise with the other. You may need pliers. Unscrew handle completely from filter. Place filter back into machine, pushing the rubber gasket into the opening with your fingers. Screw the handle back on, tightening as much as you can with your hands (pliers not needed this time). This should take care of the leak.
The way this works is that tightening the handle compresses the gasket and makes it bulge and seal the opening. But it must be uncompressed first, so you can get it all the way into the opening. Cool design, but not obvious, and not well described in the manual.

Don't use too much detergent! Only a cup and half will do the job, otherwise you will blood your floor. A strange machine with it's own personalty.

More than likely that your door seal has a hole in it open the door pull on the seal to look under the lip of it you will find the hole under there common fault that people dont check if not what u can do is tilt the washer back turn it on and u will find the leak like that thats the easiest way to find the leak but it will be your door seal trust me on that one m8 check all the way around it but it will be on the bottom under the lip
