Reset code for sensor in Kenmore 17022 dishwasher

My Kenmore dishwasher stopped working with the green light flashing. The last this happened, the machine was under warranty and the service person came in. Apparently this is a sensor where if the hot water is not at a specific temp, the dishwasher gets into this mode. He input a code (by pressing a series of button in some order). However, he didn't give that code to use. I have the same problem now and am looking to get the code. Can you help provide the code for resetting the dishwasher. Thanks -balvadi-

I've found conflicting information on this, so I'll post all three solutions - let me know if one of them works. One site told me to push Heated Wash and then Heated Dry alternately 5 times each, in quick succession. Another said hit Heated Wash, Normal, Heated Wash, Cancel. And another (I tend to think this one will work) said to flip the circuit breaker that the dishwasher is connected to off for about 30 minutes. This lets the memory discharge, so it forgets the error message.

The green clean light is flashing. It will not go off even when we press cancel. The wash cycle was not completed. The model # is 665.17283400.

The green clean light means that your dishwasher isn't heating the water. Go to the link below to see how to reset the error code and check for reasons that the error happened.

Clean light keeps flashing, cant get it to reset. What can I do?

Hi, if the clean light flashes it is indicating the was no rise in water temperature during the water heating cycle. This link below will explain things that could cause it and tell you how to reset the control so you can wash for now. Let me know if you have questions.

Be sure to follow the 'key dance' just as specified'

Thanks!

DIshwasher stopped during wash and won't run or drain.

Sounds like a drain motor startup capacitor, or stuck pump. Try disconnecting power and turn the water pump manually. Some disassembly required. Then after a few good hand spins replug and try again.

Kenmore dishwasher, model 665.170 344 01. "Clean" light keeps flashing and will not stop. Have tried everything in the manual and the light still will not stop flashing.

If the clean light flashes 7 times, pauses then repeats...

If the dishwasher doesn't sense a water temperature increase, it will stop working and lock the functions (clean light flashes 7 times, all buttons are non responsive).

To resolve this you will have to reset the console. Do this by closing the door and press these buttons in sequence...

-high temp wash
-heated dry
-high temp wash
-heated dry

...all the lights will turn on briefly and the machine will start a diagnostic cycle. You can press cancel or let the diagnostic cyle finish (1-2 minutes).
You should now be able to run the dishwasher as normal.

If the issue returns, you could have a problem with the heating circuit (ie. element, thermostat or wiring). It rarely happens but it could also be the door switch not engaging properly when the door is closed (slightly bend the door latch down making sure it doesn't hit the door when you close it).
