I am in doubdt whether to buy or not the following: A Canon EOS Rebel K2 SLR with Canon 28-90 EF for $75.00 and a Canon 75-300 EF f/4-5.6 for $80.00; a total of $155.00 Some people warned me tha I should wait until I can get more money and buy a Digtal SLR. I had some basic knowledge about photography and I am planning to take some photography course by mail, dvd or by e-mail. Please give your advice about the Canon camera and lenses and the photography course I should take. Thank you very much.

I bought a Canon AE-1 camera at a local camera store. They told me it was in perfect working condition and it was for the first month or so. I used it to take photos and it worked beautifully. But now not so much. I am in a photography class where I shoot and process my own film. The first time i did it it worked fine. But the other day i shot my film and when i looked at it, all the negatives were very underexposed, so i could vaguely see the images. except for the last frame, where it was a perfect negative. How could this happen? I did the battery check and it says its fine. My teacher suggested it could have been that i moved my ISO during the shooting until the last one? also when i adjust my f stop, the light meter does not change at all. could it be something with the light meter or the camera not reading the change in the f stop?

MD12 operation intermittent after long period of not being used. LED lights when button is pressed but motor doesn't always operate. LED sometimes stays lit for a while then drive suddenly functions - sometimes remains lit and drive doesn't function. LED sometimes glows weakly then gets brighter. This is with new batteries. Motor drive checked with two bodies - same problem.
Could it be a capacitor which needs replacing? Or just poor contacts?
Possible clue - couldn't get it to operate at all, then touching the two pins on the remote release socket made it fire. This worked a few times, then it worked normally for a while, then the motor stopped driving at all.
