Flash for mamiya 7

As with most cameras, the flash for a Mamiya is universal. Any flash with a hot foot connection will fit onto the camera, and function on the camera's shoe mount. You may alternatively use any flash which has a PC sync cord to plug into the PC sync socket on your camera, it just depends on whether you want to use a camera phycially mounted on your camera, or an off-camera flash.

The flash shoe on the Mamiya 7 isn't an "intelligent" type, meaning it only has the standard single contact and doesn't communicate any exposure or other information between camera and flash, so even the cheapest off the shelf shoe-mount flash will work just as well as the most expensive. Even specialized dedicated Nikon, Canon, and other brand "dedicated" flashes with multiple contact pins will also work, only the functionality of the information communicated through those other pins will be lost.

I have a brand new Olympia EL 1124 New in the box.How much can I list it for sale? What is the price of it? it was a gift no receipt.

The EL 1124 is considered a "toy camera" and despite a "List Price" of $300, these cameras routinely sell new for between $10 and $20 (source: eBay, I bought 20 of them for about $7 each and gave them away as door prizes at two affairs. The so-called list price made them look like great giveaways.

This is for you camera experts!!! I have an Olympus camera that belonged to my father. The only numbers on it are OM-1n. it is pre digital. I would like to find out more about this camera and possibly...

You can download a manual for the OM-1 from

The OM-1MD is the same camera as the OM-1 with the added provision for taking a motor drive to advance the film automatically.

The OM-1n is the same as the OM-1MD with a redesigned film advance lever, a flash ready/sufficient flash LED in the viewfinder, and automatic X-sync regardless of the position of the FP/X switch, when it is used with a T-series flash unit mounted on Flash Shoe 4.

Going thru some stuff for a yard sale and found

It's utterly worthless, sorry. You may see a few chancers asking ridiculous sums for other examples on auction websites, but they never sell.

Old doesn't automatically equal collectible nor valuable.

It's not all bad: you can have as much fun as you like trying to use it without worrying about breaking it.

Going thru some stuff for a yard sale and found an old Kalimar LX 11 camera--what is it worth--i have the camera, instructions and the carrying case

Sorry, but it's completely worthless. The best thing about worthless cameras is that you don't have to worry about usage affecting the value, so just enjoy using it for what it is.
